The Times of London App Reviews

This version is a disaster. Every time I want to update the content I need to remove the app from my iPhone and download it again, otherwise it stays stuck on the last content and never updates. Its been like that for about a month. Is anyone doing anything at all to solve the issue at Times of London????

The new app is a giant backwards leap. Where one could, on the previous app, customise what news one wanted to read on this one you waste time trawling through all the articles to read the news you want. Better to read BBC. On the iPhone app you do not get the updates and miss days when it tells you your edition is up to date. Come on The Times get some serious programmers to fix the multiple glitches this app has had from day one.

But it would be even better if it supported the full resolution of the iPhone 6Plus. Crashes rarely and performance is very good on the iPhone 6.

Totally useless app as 9/10 you get an error message that the latest edition cannot be downloaded. Today is 19.09 and Im still stuck on 10.09. iPad version, however, is great.

Great app, informative, easy to use. The only thing is that iPad app is much better structured. The iPhone one is missing some of the interesting and useful things. For example, travel guide.

Colleages, please, develop a search instrument for this otherwise very good paper. To have an e-paper without a search is utterly nonsensical, dont you think so? Also, please, make the iphone and ipad versions match at least in the titles of published stories! I begin to read the paper on my ipad in the morning at breakfast and then, however hard I might try - i just cannot find what I read in my iphone version when travelling to the office in the Tube. Titles are different and no search instrument can help. This is so frustrating!

Practically inpossible to download corrent edition. It tells you "your edition is up to date" when you staring at articles a week old. Its really worst.

Are necessary to get a full picture of the news and the Times of London assists with this POV

Not to mention its free for now, finally a trustworthy news source in my iPhone!

The icon is low-res. Please adjust. Otherwise, the app itself is superb and has one of the best UIs in the business.

Attractive, intuitive UI. No search tool? Also, would be nice to have the ability to email articles from within the app.

Search function please!

I enjoy reading the news reported in the app and will be sorry when you start charging. Would be great to have coverage during the Olympics and the Jubilee. Maybe you can create a special app just for those events. From a US reader.

Remarkable speed and an ability to view news offline. Sadly costs money. I blame Mr Murdoch.

App store wont allow purchase

This app was perfect for the first 30 days. Now Ive paid for another 30-day subscription, but cannot access any content. Money down the drain, feh.
